Lisduggan Farm Foods received a Great Taste Award for the third consecutive year for one of its bacon products.
“As a small producer, it gives us huge satisfaction to be acknowledged by this prestigious award after all the effort put in by our small team,” says Trevor Cunningham, owner and managing director of Lisduggan Farm Foods. “We pride ourselves on producing a product that is natural, succulent, and tasty. Our back bacon is dry cured using the old style of curing to enhance the product, giving it its unique flavour. All the pork used is produced by small farmers who deliver a superb finished animal to be slaughtered in our local slaughterhouse. The adage ‘small is beautiful’ definitely applies to our operation.”
